Tips To Turn Your Life Around With Feng Shui

Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shwai) is a very ancient Chinese philosophy that studies the effect of the elements of nature on human beings.

Under this premise, there are five principal elements - earth, fire, wood, water and metal that influence the quality of life of any human being. The equilibrium of these elements around you would mean contentment and success.

Life Can Be Anything You Make It

There is tremendous truth in this adage both literally and figuratively. The Feng Shui tips given below is just one way in which you could have most things that you would want from your life for yourself and your family.

1. Recognize and enhance the auspicious space in your home - the room where you spend most of your time would be the living room. Enhancing the auspicious side of your living room would mean enhancing the good luck of your family.

According to Feng Shui the left side of the living room is the auspicious side as it belongs to the Green Dragon while the right side (belonging to the White Dragon) is not. In order to enhance the auspiciousness of the room you would need to keep all electrical appliances (TV, Computer, music system ,etc) on he left side of the room and only have the furniture as much as possible on the right side of the room.

This is because the left side of the house is believed to be filled of positive energy which needs to flow around the house. Any heavy furniture in this area would stop this positive energy and result is trouble in your family.

2. Prevent drainage of your wealth - water is the symbol of wealth in Feng Shui. When applied to the modern world, roads also symbolize wealth as they mimic water - they help transport and help humans move to earn their living. In this context if there is any road in front of your home that turns away from the entrance you would have negative energy entering your home in the form of Shar Chi (pronounced as Shar Qi).

Do not worry - you need not leave the house to avoid any mishap. All you need to do is block the negative energy's entrance with a simple curtain or windscreen.

3. Avert serious accidents - another dangerous situation would arise when your home is at the end of a long road. Here too Shar Chi is formed and depending upon the length of the straight road that leads away from your home, you can measure the strength of the accidents or mishaps that this attracts for your home.

This could also mean that you or your family members would require surgery or any such problems that involve shedding of blood. Scary, right?

Fortunately, there is a simple remedy for this as well. You would have to just place a curtain or a windscreen in front of your main door, which would prevent the Shar Chi entering your home.
