According to Feng Shui, the South-West corner of your home is the space responsible for your love life. The best thing would be to have a bedroom in the South-West corner of your home. You can easily determine the South-West corner with a compass. The worst thing would be to have the bathroom placed in that area as that would mean that all the good things meant for your love life is literally going down the drain.

The Feng Shui Remedy

The great thing about Feng Shui is that it has ways to cut the bad luck without the need for demolishing your home - though frankly speaking that would be a better way to achieve the best influence.

1. Remove clutter - keep the South-West corner of your home and bedroom free of clutter. The clutter cuts off the positive energy's capacity to flow freely. Clutter is in many cases your worst enemy - so it is a good idea to check your whole house for clutter and remove it periodically.

2. Rejuvenate love - flowers have that power according to Feng Shui. Put a large vase with fresh-cut flowers in the South-West corner of your bedroom. Alternatively you could use a painting of flowers or even silk flowers. Avoid at all costs using a cactus plant here or anything with thorns. If you use a rose, have the thorns removed. Be careful that you change the flowers before they dry up.

3. Bring romance back - if you are pining for someone who seems elusive to you, try placing two wooden ducks in the South-West part of your bedroom and/or your home. According to Feng Shui, the wooden ducks are symbols of life-time love (as ducks pair for life) and these would bring you your love. If you do not like ducks figurines, you could also use a picture or statue of a couple (human beings) in love.

4. Enhance the positive energy - you can use the lava lamp (that has red or orange lava) in this corner to activate and enhance the positive energy of your love life. The more positive energy you create in your home, the better would your love life would be.
