Understanding Feng Shui
You must have heard about Feng Shui and have some vague idea about it as well. Most people know it as a Chinese method to improve life and many try it out as well - some with good results and some with not so good.
This is not because Feng Shui is not an authentic and extremely powerful way to improve your life; it is rather because people are really not aware of its real meaning and correct usage and apply it haphazardly expecting miracles to happen over night.
What Is Feng Shui?
The word Feng Shui (pronounced as Fung Shwai) is the Chinese for 'wind and water'. The basic principle of Feng Shui is balancing the energy around you just as Ying and Yang. Based on the balance between the elements among which you live, depends the better quality of life you would be experiencing.
According to Feng Shui whatever might be your problem - career, money, love, health, peace of mind, children, etc. - is because you have not found balance between yourself and the elements surrounding you. The moment you restore this balance, everything would simply fall into place and you would find life beautiful.
Bring Back Your Happiness
As per this ancient science, there are eight directions that influence your (and anyone's) life. Out of these eight directions four would be positive and four would be negative. The actual direction and significance of each one in your life would be spelled out by the Pa-Kua personal number. According to this number, you would be able to understand how Feng Shui can change your life.
The eight Pa-kua directions are summarily described below. Check them out:
1. The 'Life Generating' (Sheng Chi) direction - this direction governs your financial capacity and ability to amass wealth. Focusing on this direction would dramatically improve your financial status.
2. The 'Heavenly Doctor' (Tien Yi) direction - this is the direction that has influence on your health. Focusing on this area would keep you and your family healthy.
3. The 'Relationship' (Nien Yin) direction - the relationships in your life would definitely improve once you pay attention to enhance this direction. By 'relationship' it means not only your love life, but also how you relate to the other members of your home and friends.
4. The 'Stability' (Fu Wei) direction - are you looking for wisdom, knowledge, higher studies, research? Do you want peace of mind? This is the direction you should concentrate upon in that case.
5. The 'Mishap' (Ho Hai) direction - this is the direction that brings negative influence on yourself and your family. You need to pay attention to this direction to prevent any bad things happening to your or your family members.
6. The 'Five Ghosts' (Wu Gwei) direction - if this direction has prominence in your home, you would be the victim of theft and heavy financial losses. Cutting off this direction's strength would bring back a semblance to your finances.
7. The 'Six Killings' (Liu Sha) direction - when this direction governs your home, you would be the victim of persecution, malevolence and domination. This is the direction of evil and it needs to be reduced to the furthest extent.
8. The 'Total Loss' (Chueh Ming) - if this direction is strong you are likely to loose your life and there would be deaths in the house. Reducing the impact of this direction would prevent such occurrences.
