You can change your luck with the following simple techniques according to the ancient Feng Shui wisdom:

1. Location of the office - have the home office in a room that is as close as possible to the main door. Avoid if possible locating it in the basement since the positive energy usually flows upwards and the basement is the lowest point. If it cannot be avoided, ensure that the basement is bright with light and well ventilated to allow the flow of positive energy.

2. Location of the desk - always place your desk to the right of the window(s) if any. Have the desk face the front door and as much as possible avoid having your back to windows. The best is to have a wall behind you or a corner.

3. Color of success - the color that would suit your home office best depends upon what your business is. If you are running an ad agency or anything that has to do with creativity, choose blue or green. If your business requires marketing and sales then choose the red color.

If you have a detective agency or anything that requires clarity of thought and inspiration choose yellow. Orange color is the best for an office where a lot of people work, because it promotes cooperation.

4. Clutter - keep the desk free of any clutter. Ensure that there is no clutter on the desk at any time; neither should there be any clutter in the office. Clutter stops positive energy from flowing freely and thereby blocks success.

5. Promoting wealth - Put a green plant in the North-West corner to promote generation of wealth. If it is possible, have a money tree (the Pachira tree) as your indoor green plant. Another way to attract money is to have a three legged frog in the South-East corner of the room (or desk). Remember that it should face inside the room to bring money, not towards the door as this would mean loss of money.
