Help Your Children Excel - Feng Shui Their Room
Parents today have very little time for their children. However, the love, concern and care are all there. You worry when they are faring bad in their studies; you worry when they have no real friends; you worry when they are too quiet; you worry when they are too vociferous.
In other words, as a parent, you would always worry about the well-being of your children; until you go to your grave.
A Simple Way To Do Something About It - Feng Shui
You want to help your children, but the point is that they do not want your help (not at least in the way you offer it) once they cross into the terrible teens. Many parents back out a little hoping that 'this too, shall pass'
and many others literally start praying because they feel so helpless.
There is something you can do; something that is effective and would almost overnight bring peace and good direction (and positive influence) in your child's life.
This is no magic or 'special effects' here; only the application of some very ancient wisdom to modern way of living. This ancient wisdom is Feng Shui. This is a science that studies the impact of the location of the house/ rooms vis-à-vis the cardinal points and the impact on the personal energy by five elements of nature - earth, wood, water, metal and fire.
What You Can Do According To Feng Shui
As a matter of fact, quite a lot. Take a look at the following guidelines:
1. Change colors of the room - your children's rooms should have the walls colored orange, yellow or earth colors. This would calm their minds and bring a will to cooperate and love everybody in the house. This is especially beneficial for houses where a number of siblings live and where rivalry among them is at its highest most.
2. Placement of the bed - put the bed in such a position where the child can see the entrance door without any effort. The location should have the bed touching a wall. This gives the child self-assurance and a security feeling. This is the best for children who are shy, afraid of the dark and making friends, etc. The position of the bed should never be opposite the door.
This would create restlessness and loss of concentration. Try having the children put their heads towards east or south if they tend to sleep too much; and towards the north or west if they are unable to sleep deeply at night.
3. Furniture placement - keep the furniture on the right hand of the room (as you enter the room your right) and the electrical appliances such as TV, computer on the left. This would promote the flow of the positive energy and improve the ability of your child to do well in studies.
4. Remove all clutter - there is nothing more inauspicious in the children's room (or any room as a mater of fact) than clutter. This not only creates plenty of bad energy which would obstruct all the good things from happening, but also block the flow of good energy creating a double loss in the life of your child.
