If you ask people what they want the most today, most would answer 'money'. Maybe this is right, may be it is not - this is debatable. However, it is a fact that you could change your fortune by using simple Feng Shui principles.

Is this not what all of us want? More money? You need money to feel comfortable in today's highly consumer-oriented world. Look around you - you need money for everything.

This is why most people work so hard from morning to night. Some get the results of their hard work, while some do not. 

When you feel down and find that you are unable to make sufficient money or keep it, try the following Feng Shui tips. You will be awed by the changes it can bring to your life:

1. Water element - water is one of the critical aspects of Feng Shui. The other elements are earth, wood, metal, wind and fire. Using water is believed to create positive energy and hence the first thing you would want in your home would be a water body.

Flowing water is an exceptionally good choice; you could install a water fountain. The sound of the water as well as the continuous movement would eliminate negative energy and instill the positive one.

2. Aquarium - another way to bring the water element into your home to promote wealth creation is with an aquarium. Have a few goldfish (which indicate wealth) and one or two black fish. The gold fish would promote generation of wealth while the black fish would absorb any negative energy in your home. 

3. Pictures of water - if you cannot have a waterfall or aquarium in your home for whatever reasons do not fret. Use pictures of waterfalls or water bodies. Be careful though to keep only those pictures which depict waters as calm, beautiful and the largess of nature. Avoid those which project turbulent, violent or stormy water bodies. These would promote negative vibes and energy and should be shunned.

4. Location - in order to ensure the full impact of your water body - enhancing your power to create wealth - you need to keep it (water body or its picture) in the South-East corner of the room(s) you spend most time in. Suppose the most used room is the bedroom, put your water body in the SE corner of that room.

If you do not have any such favorite room, then you would need to put something about water in every room of your home for best results.

5. Colors - wealth is symbolized and promoted according to Feng Shui by the red and green colors. Hence, it would be good if you have a few green plants in your home and red flowers whenever you can. Artificial flowers would be just as good. Plants increase oxygen levels in the house and also the positive energy that pulls in wealth.

6. Last but not the least you need to pay close attention to clutter. Anything that does not have a place and it is not really needed classifies as clutter. Remove these from your home because they block the positive energy required for creating and keeping wealth.
