Feng Shui is a very ancient Chinese method of using the strength of nature's elements to promote positive vibes and energy in a person's life.

You are aware that humans are affected by the gravity of the earth, electromagnetic fields, and so many other elements. According to Feng Shui life is ruled by five elements - fire, earth, water, wood and metal. 

Each of these elements are symbolized by certain things and colors. The perfect coordination of these elements in any given environment creates sufficient positive energy to change your fortune and state of mind.

What Can You Do, According To Feng Shui?

In order to have your environment working for you and creating positive influence (read energy) in your life, ensure that your home has the following:

1. Activate your North - you need to remove all the clutter from the North of your home. If that spot is not easily discernible, then check the Northern corner of the room you live the most in. Keep the Northern corner clean and completely clutter-free. In case your bedroom is in the North side, put an aquarium or a picture of water in the room. Use black and blue colors in this room. You will attract great opportunities.

2. Light - light is an important aspect of any home. For exceptional good luck, have a light on at the entrance. This area should always be well illuminated. Your career would suddenly pick when you do this. 

3. Water body - water is associated with wealth in Feng Shui. Hence, the best would be to have a water body in the house either in the South East corner/ side or in the left side of the entrance door (inside or outside does not matter) as you look from inside the house outside. This would bring in money.

4. Green plants - any green plants in the South East corner (in case you do not like the water body) would serve as a wealth enhancer as well.

5. Fame - you want to achieve recognition and fame in the office/ society? Place a light in the South to activate it. You could also use red objects and high quality crystals. Your work and value would be almost instantly recognized.

6. Careen advancement - of you are thirsty for that promotion which has been eluded you for ages, place a tortoise in the North part of your office or desk. Alternatively, you could place a water picture or a fish tank here. If you choose an aquarium, ensure that you have eight gold fish and one black fish in it. The gold fish symbolize money while the black fish protection against anything negative.
